About Leena AI
Leena AI is building the definitive AI platform for enterprise employee experience. Our flagship product, AI Colleague Studio, deploys autonomous AI colleagues that handle complex HR, IT, and finance workflows across the world’s largest enterprises. Backed by top-tier investors, we grew nearly 4x last year and are rewriting the rules of how enterprises adopt AI. Our office is located in Midtown Manhattan, New York
. If you want to operate at the frontier of enterprise AI – not just talk about it – this is the place.
The Role
We’re looking for a Strategy & Operations hire who is equal parts sharp thinker and relentless executor. This isn’t a “build decks and wait for approval” role. You’ll work directly with the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer on the highest-priority problems facing the company – pricing architecture, GTM motions, competitive strategy, market expansion – and then actually go make it happen. You’ll ship analyses, build tools, close operational gaps, and move faster than anyone thinks is possible. And you’ll do it all with AI as your default operating system – not as a buzzword, but as the way you actually work every single day.
Your next opportunity is in here somewhere. Sign up to explore 52,000+ startups and their open roles. No spam. No gamification. Just jobs.

What You’ll Do
• Leadership’s Force Multiplier:
Own the CEO’s and CSO’s most critical strategic projects end-to-end. Frame the problem, do the analysis, build the recommendation, and drive execution – all in days, not weeks.
• Pricing & Commercial Strategy:
Model, pressure-test, and refine consumption-based pricing, platform fee structures, and packaging. Build the tools (calculators, estimators, scenario models) that the sales team actually uses to close deals.
• GTM Operations:
Design and optimize the go-to-market engine – pipeline analytics, territory planning, comp structures, sales enablement materials. If the revenue machine needs a part, you build it.
• Market & Competitive Intelligence:
Continuously map the competitive landscape, synthesize analyst reports, track market movements, and distill it all into actionable insight – not 40-page documents nobody reads.
• Cross-Functional Problem Solving:
Parachute into any function – product, engineering, customer success, legal – when there’s a fire to put out or an opportunity to seize. No org-chart boundaries.
• AI-Native Workflows:
Use LLMs, AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor), and automation for everything – research, data analysis, content creation, prototyping, internal tooling. If you need a tool, you build it yourself. No tickets, no dependencies.
Who You Are
• Top-Tier Pedigree:
You graduated from a top-tier institution (think IIT, IIM, Ivy League, Stanford, MIT, Oxbridge, or equivalent). We care about demonstrated intellectual horsepower and the discipline it takes to get there.
• 5–8 Years of Experience:
Background in management consulting (MBB preferred), investment banking, high-growth startup operations, PE/VC, or a mix. You’ve led workstreams, managed cross-functional initiatives, and have a track record of driving measurable outcomes. Or you’ve done something unconventional that’s equally impressive – we’re open-minded about the path, not the bar.
• Builder Mentality:
You don’t wait for someone to hand you a playbook. You see a gap, figure out the solution, and ship it. Scrappy > polished.
• Analytically Ruthless:
You can build a financial model from scratch, interrogate data until it tells you something useful, and make decisions under uncertainty. You’re allergic to hand-wavy logic.
• AI Builder, Not Just AI User (Non-Negotiable):
You don’t just prompt AI – you build with it. You’ve used tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot to ship real things: internal tools, automations, dashboards, scripts, apps. You can go from “we need a calculator for this” to a working prototype without filing an engineering ticket. This is not aspirational – it’s table stakes. We expect you to build your own tools and workflows, not wait for someone else to build them for you.
• Communication That Cuts Through:
Crisp writing. Clear thinking. You can distill a complex problem into a one-page memo that drives a decision.
• Candidates must have existing work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Our AI-First Expectation
At Leena AI, we don’t just sell AI – we live it. Every member of the team is expected to leverage AI as a core part of how they work. For this role specifically, that means:
• Using LLMs for first-draft research, competitive analysis, and content creation – then applying your judgment to sharpen the output.
• Building internal tools, calculators, prototypes, and dashboards yourself using Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools – no engineering dependency, no waiting.
• Automating repetitive operational workflows (CRM hygiene, reporting, data transforms) with AI-powered scripts and integrations.
• Prompting and evaluating multiple foundation models to understand their strengths – you’re working at an AI company, so you need to be a sophisticated user of the technology.
• Continuously experimenting – if a new AI tool drops that could make you 2x more effective, you’re trying it that week, not that quarter.
We will evaluate your AI fluency during the interview process.
