Summary of Duties: Work across all aspects of the development cycle to optimize workflows, dataset generation, model performance, and code efficiency. Build and maintain cloud deployment of Machine Learning models and surrounding infrastructure. Contribute to infrastructure and process improvements for data collection, labeling, model development, and deployment. Design and implement Research and Development data engineering solutions for delivery of ML model value from device to cloud, including message payload design, data ingest, and database architecture. Prepare and automate builds for device model deployment. Assist on projects led through data processing, programming, monitoring of production applications. Hybrid work permitted. Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and Five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Software Engineer, or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires experience with the following skills: Python, C++, and GNU/Linux CLI Utilities; Machine Learning Operations; Data Engineering principles and architecture; Big Data processing frameworks, such as MapReduce, or Spark; Relational database modeling and integration; Ability to manage cloud resources and technologies within AWS, including Sagemaker, EC2 and S3; Software Automation tools, such as Airflow, Ansible, Terraforms, Jenkins; Web Application Architecture and software patterns; Automated unit testing and regression testing methodologies; and Linux software build toolchains and patterns; Source Control and tracking, including Git.
