Senior M&A Advisor
DealFlowAgent is an AI-native M&A advisory firm helping owners of essential services businesses sell for higher valuations in shorter timeframes.
We are the first firm of our kind that specialises on sectors such as fire safety, HVAC, security, electrical services, installation and maintenance, specialist clinics, dentists, vets and care homes.
We have raised $750,000 in seed funding and are backed by investors behind companies including Uber, Canva, SpaceX and 40+ unicorns.
The Role
This is an end to end dealmaker role, not a back-room analyst role.
You will own sell-side campaigns end to end for business owners selling companies they have often spent decades building. You will be client-facing, buyer-facing and responsible for keeping transactions moving from onboarding through to close.
The role suits someone who has real transaction experience, enjoys buyer management, builds trust quickly with founders and wants more upside than a traditional advisory seat can offer.
What You’ll Do
You will manage a portfolio of sell-side clients across the full transaction process, including onboarding, valuation work, buyer strategy, deal preparation, buyer outreach, pipeline management, diligence, negotiation and close.
You will review and improve CIMs, teasers, buyer lists and deal materials produced with support from our internal systems. The goal is not to replace judgement with technology. The goal is to remove low-value admin so you can spend more time advising clients, managing buyers and driving competitive tension.
You will work directly with business owners, many aged 40 to 85, who are making one of the biggest decisions of their lives. That means you need warmth, commercial judgement, patience, structure and the confidence to push back when needed.
What Good Looks Like
You probably have 3+ years of transaction experience across M&A advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, business brokerage, corporate development, private equity, or another deal-heavy environment.
You do not need to have held the exact title before. What matters is that you have been close to real transactions and understand how deals move, stall and close.
Strong candidates will have evidence of:
• Managing clients, buyers, sellers, investors, or senior stakeholders directly
• Working on sell-side or buy-side transactions with real responsibility
• Running or supporting buyer outreach, buyer qualification and pipeline management
• Communicating clearly with business owners and senior decision-makers
• Following up fast and keeping multiple moving parts under control
• Staying organised without needing constant supervision
• Being low ego, hands-on and willing to get stuck into the details
• Being open to using AI tools and systems to improve the M&A process
AI experience is useful, but it is not the main requirement. The main requirement is that you are a credible deal person who is open-minded, organised and fast-moving.
Compensation
The package is designed for someone who wants meaningful upside.
Our target deal range is typically £2M to £50M enterprise value, with an average advisory fee of around £80k to £700k per deal. One of the many exciting aspects of the role and company is that we are systemising the process so we can more predictable timelines e.g. 12 to 20 weeks end to end.
Location
UK-based candidates are preferred. London 1 to 3 days per week is ideal.
We care more about quality than postcode, but regular access to London is a strong advantage because this is a founding-team role.
Apply If
Apply if you are a hands-on deal professional who wants to help build a modern M&A advisory firm from the ground up.
If this role feels slightly too senior or slightly too junior, apply anyway if you have real transaction experience, strong client confidence and the appetite to own deals end to end.
Do not apply if you only want a pure analyst role, dislike buyer outreach, avoid client conversations, or need a highly structured corporate environment to do your best work.
Thank you! We look forward to seeing your applications. If in doubt, still apply.
