Ergo IT Recruitment Services is seeking experienced Senior IT Field Engineers to support multiple sites across County Limerick, County Clare and neighbouring counties . The role is for a large client and will involve installing, configuring, and supporting a wide range of IT hardware, software, and network systems. This is an initial 12 month contract day rate role which will extend beyond this.

What will you do?

• Install and configure PCs, laptops, IP settings, system images, and domain joins.
• Support and maintain VMware‑based virtual desktop environments.
• Set up and troubleshoot iOS and Android devices.
• Provide technical support for digital radio systems and antenna equipment.
• Assist with Control Room technologies, including CCTV platforms.
• Configure and support telephony systems (Avaya/Cisco)
• Carry out network patching and general network support tasks.
• Install and maintain networked printers and scanners.
• Create clear technical documentation

What do you need?

• IT qualification (IT degree, diploma or certifications essential)
• At least 6 years' experience in a similar field support role/Sys Admin/L2
• Strong knowledge of VMware and virtualisation technologies.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
• Ability to support a broad range of hardware and software systems.
• Full clean driving licence and own transport.
• Excellent communication skills
