Mid-Level (3-5 Years) | On-Site | Full-Time
ABOUT NEURABLE
Neurable's pioneering software and hardware technology enables electroencephalography (EEG) devices to be utilized outside of controlled lab environments on a large scale. This is an opportunity to join a high-impact company, collaborate with a world-class team, and work on technology that will redefine human-computer interaction. With such sensitive technology comes a responsibility and commitment to honoring the privacy of our customers, and that’s where you come in.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a versatile Senior IT Engineer who can own both our internal IT operations and privacy compliance programs end-to-end. You will be the go-to person for managing our enterprise resources, and you’ll be involved in all major architectural and design reviews to ensure Neurable delivers on its promises of privacy and quality.
Neurable’s internal system inventory includes a variety of prototype hardware, demo systems, and software, which you’ll be responsible for managing and configuring with support from our engineering team.
In addition, there are a lot of opportunities for growth in this role to either continue expanding your responsibilities and recognition related to compliance and information security or learn from the other senior engineers about how Neurable builds hardware, researches neuroscience-driven experiences, or develops software.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
IT Infrastructure & Operations
Own and manage all internal IT systems, hardware, and network infrastructure.
Administer user accounts, devices, and endpoint security across the organization
Manage access provisioning and de-provisioning for all tools, SaaS platforms, and internal systems
Maintain and improve IT documentation, runbooks, and asset inventory
Serve as the first point of contact for IT support and issue resolution
Privacy & Compliance
Work in tandem with Neurable’s software engineering team, who own application security, to maintain and continuously improve our SOC 2 compliance program
Lead expansion into additional compliance frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and others as the business requires
Engineering Support
Own demo laptop configuration, imaging, and maintenance for customer-facing demos
Manage and maintain demo deployment environments, ensuring reliability and consistency
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required
3-5 years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or a similar role
Nice to Have
Solid working knowledge of cloud platforms - AWS preferred
Experience with additional compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, CCPA)
Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and a genuine curiosity about applying AI to internal workflows
Experience with hardware imaging, device fleet management, or demo environment deployment
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment where you wore multiple hats
WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Equity participation in a high-growth neurotechnology company
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
Opportunity to shape the IT and compliance function from the ground up
A collaborative, mission-driven team working on genuinely novel technology
