mode40 is a fast-growing tech company serving enterprise manufacturing clients across North America. Our platform helps manufacturers uncover hidden inefficiencies, predict equipment issues before they happen, and make smarter decisions with their data — and we're just getting started.
We're looking for a Senior Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment of our platform at manufacturing sites across North America. You'll be the face of mode40 on the ground — working directly with clients to understand their operations, configure the platform to fit their environment, and ensure they get real value from day one. This role is equal parts technical and relational, and it's critical to how our clients experience our product.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end implementation of our platform at client manufacturing facilities, from scoping and planning through go-live and handoff.
- Work on-site with plant managers, engineers, and operations teams to understand their processes, data sources, and goals.
- Configure and customize the platform to align with each client's unique manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate with our product and engineering teams to translate client needs into product improvements and feature requests.
- Develop and deliver training to client teams, ensuring strong adoption and confidence with the platform.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during deployment, including data integrations, connectivity, and system configuration.
- Build trusted relationships with clients that support long-term retention and expansion.
- Document implementation processes, lessons learned, and best practices to help scale our delivery as we grow.
- Identify opportunities where AI-powered features can deliver additional value to clients and help them understand how to use them effectively.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in implementation, deployment, solutions engineering, or a similar client-facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations — you're comfortable on a factory floor and can speak the language of production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Technical aptitude — you can work with data integrations, APIs, databases, and system configurations without needing to lean on engineering for every issue.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — you can earn trust with a plant manager and explain a technical constraint to an engineer in the same afternoon.
Nice to Have
- Experience with manufacturing systems such as SCADA, MES, ERP, or historian databases.
- Familiarity with time-series data and operational analytics.
- Background in industrial automation or IoT deployments.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar.
Why Join Us
- See the direct impact of your work — you'll watch clients transform how they operate.
- Be the critical link between our product and the people who use it every day.
- Competitive pay, benefits, and room to grow with a company that's scaling fast.
