We’re building the next generation of language learning — helping millions of users speak confidently through real-time AI and speech technology. .
We’re looking for a Senior Golang Backend Engineer to make our product faster, more reliable, and more intelligent.
What you’ll do
-Stabilize and scale core backend systems (speech, lessons, subscriptions, user state)
-Eliminate race conditions, flaky behavior, and “random” bugs
-Design how speech and learner data is stored to power personalized feedback
-Build internal tools for content and lesson ingestion
-Improve observability, testing, and rollout safety
-Enable fast experimentation for product and growth teams
What we’re looking for
-7+ years of backend experience
-Strong Golang (or similar systems language)
-Experience with distributed systems, APIs, and real-time or event-driven architectures
-Comfortable with Postgres/NoSQL, queues, caching, and cloud infrastructure
-AI-native mindset — you use tools like ChatGPT/Copilot to move faster and build better systems
