You will build AI Native products that increase the safety of medical devices and as part of scaling Flinn, you will play a key role in growing our tech team further and building. For this position, we are looking for a new team member with a fix base in commuting distance to Berlin or Vienna to enjoy regular in person interactions paired with great flexibility for remote work.

Your contributions to our journey:

• Be involved in defining and shaping our technical roadmap.
• Drive and spear-head architectural and software design decisions.
• Take part in shaping our software development processes as well as quality and security standards.
• Be hands-on in designing, developing and deploying scalable web applications.
• Mentor other team members and be involved in hiring software engineers.

💡 We are not just looking for someone to complete Jira tickets, but rather to be actively involved in decision making (product & tech) and take ownership and initiative.

What you need to be successful:

• Proven track record of designing, implementing, delivering and maintaining complex web applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus).
• Extensive experience building modern backend systems using Node.js (preferably using Express.js).
• Solid understanding of both relational and non-relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL and Redis), experience with Elasticsearch is a plus.
• Good understanding of containerization technologies (preferably Docker and/or Kubernetes) and at least one cloud computing platforms.
• Experience developing in an environment with loosely coupled services and event based communication is a plus.
