This client requires a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to act as a technical leader and architect. You will own the end-to-end technical roadmap, focusing on solving the most complex challenges related to scalability, performance under massive concurrency, and system reliability. This role demands architectural foresight, mastery of the modern web stack, and the ability to mentor and elevate the entire engineering team.

Drive architectural decisions for scalable, fault-tolerant backend services and engaging frontend platforms, specifically addressing high-traffic volumes common in media delivery.

Lead the technical design and development of critical features across the full stack, primarily using React and Node.js (TypeScript) , ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience.

Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering technical excellence, code quality, and engineering best practises .

Optimise application performance and reliability across the full stack, focusing on achieving ultra-low latency and managing complex state in high-traffic scenarios.

Define and enforce coding standards , contributing to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and the overall deployment programme .

Contribute expertise to API design (REST/GraphQL), database optimisation , and cloud resource management, with a focus on Serverless architecture.

Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-impact production issues across distributed services.

6+ years of progressive professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with at least 2 years operating in a Senior or Lead capacity.

Expert-level proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with deep experience in complex state management and performance tuning.

Expertise in backend development using Node.js (or a similar language) and designing APIs using GraphQL or advanced REST principles.

Proven ability to architect and deploy scalable solutions using a Serverless model (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions) in a production environment.

Deep understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and experience in data modelling for scale and concurrency.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms ( AWS preferred), containerisation, and DevOps principles (CI/CD, IaC).

Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of technical ownership.
