The Role
Are you a driven individual passionate about disruptive technologies and driving cost reduction and business growth in the Semiconductor industry? Join us as a Senior Equipment Automation Engineer at Alpha X Technology, where you'll play a pivotal role in design, development, testing and implementation of the tailored AI driven digitalization and automation solutions.
What you will do:
- Contribute to Equipment Automation System (EAS) Implementation: -
- Gathering details of client’s factory automation requirement and document
- Generate Equipment Driver – including Equipment SECS/GEM documentation study, define related protocol Stream and Functions, conduct equipment characterization
- Design and finalize the equipment automation scenario, construct event flow diagram and communicate with client for final buyoff. These include linkage with MES, EAP Operators and other peripheral/application (e.g. RFID reader, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Recipe Management System (RMS) etc.)
- EAS Development, and Integration testing with Equipment simulation
- Final acceptance test with Equipment guided with Test plan finalized and approved.
- Hardware architecture design, setup and configuration for EAS project implementation.
- Coordinate and interaction with both external & internal parties including IT department, users and equipment vendors.
- Troubleshoot and fix automation software and interface problems.
With proven technical skill, product knowledge and quality awareness, you may:
- Involve in EAS core modules enhancement and development
- Involve/conducting DEMO of EAS product to customer
What you need to have:
- Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent discipline.
- Min. 5 years of related working experience in semiconductor or solar industry.
- Proven experience in equipment integration and automation development, and Semiconductor Automation standards such as SECS/GEM protocol (e.g. E30, E37, GEM300, and SEMI PV2)
- Knowledgeable of C/C++, C#, Visual Basic, Java, CORBA, Windows MFC Application development.
- Understand factory automation technology and familiar with various semiconductor equipment types.
- Proven experience in working with cleanroom automated equipment, knowledgeable cleanroom work environment and requirements.
Added advantage if you have:
- Knowledgeable of relational database especially Oracle and DB2.
- Good knowledge of Industry 4.0 and IOT.
- Good communication and documentation skills in English.
- Fluency in Mandarin essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
