• People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support engineering teams, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
• Management of Managers: Guide and coach engineering leaders to build strong, autonomous teams that deliver high-impact solutions.
• Project Delivery: Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while managing risks and trade-offs.
• Technical Oversight: Drive technical decisions across our stack—Python, React, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS Lambda—while balancing scalability and maintainability.
• Process Improvement: Implement and refine engineering best practices, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our development cycles.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to align technical strategy with company goals.

• Leadership: Proven experience leading engineering teams, including managing managers and scaling engineering organizations.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Python, React, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS Lambda, with the ability to provide architectural guidance.
• Project Execution: Hands-on experience in delivering complex software projects within deadlines.
• People Management: Passion for mentoring and growing engineers, with a track record of fostering high-performance teams.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance technical vision with business objectives, driving innovation while ensuring execution.
• Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Language Skills: Fluent English (German is a plus but not required).
