We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Engineer- Test at Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad locations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards testing and automating the testing efforts. This role also includes developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports. - Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications - Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization - Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality - Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing) - Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization - Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes - Manages testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines - Mentors and provides training assistance to Associate QA Engineers - Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process. - Bachelor's degree required. - Experience with virtualization and cloud administration - Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude towards testing and finding issues - Hands-on experience with both Windows and Unix operating systems - Strong understanding of clustering and networking - Experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills such as Python, Selenium, C#, JavaScript, CPP, Ansible, or Terraform - Scripting skills, particularly in Python, for automating tests - Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred. - Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) - Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing - Annual health check-ups, Car lease Program, and Tuition Reimbursement - An inclusive company culture, an opportunity to join our Community Guilds - Personal accident cover and Term life cover Ready to #makeyourmark at Commvault?
