About the Company
ProtonDx is a dynamic and innovative Imperial College London spin-out, specializing in medical diagnostics and related technologies. Our multi-disciplinary engineering team spans across the fields of electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, molecular biology, and more. With the recent launch of our regulatory-approved point-of-care diagnostic product, Dragonfly, and a nucleic acid extraction kit for research use, SmartLid, we are poised for rapid growth and expansion into new product lines and strategic partnerships. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of science and technology to improve healthcare outcomes.
Support the design and development of a state-of-the-art automated molecular diagnostic device.
Evaluate, prototype, and iterate electromechanical nucleic acid extraction and lab-on-a-chip detection systems.
Design and fabricate robust alpha prototypes for field evaluation.
Present to internal teams as well as external stakeholders; regularly build presentations and reports to drive brainstorming, communicate designs, and share status updates.
Diligently generate and maintain design documentation for first-generation devices; record design requirements, hardware descriptions, V&V test documentation, schematic and layout documentation, etc.
Analyze and optimize developed systems through simulation techniques such as FEA.
