We are seeking a Senior Director, Algorithm Development, to lead our machine learning efforts and help shape the next generation of our AI platform. This role will serve as a critical bridge between our established machine learning capabilities and our expanding deep learning initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Contribution

• Lead development of EEG-based machine learning algorithms for diagnosis, prediction, and longitudinal tracking
• Partner closely with the deep learning team to integrate and advance hybrid ML/DL approaches
• Define algorithm strategy across TBI, Alzheimer’s, and other CNS applications
• Drive performance, validation, and generalization of models across diverse clinical datasets
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, clinical, and regulatory teams to bring algorithms into real-world, regulated products
• Support external collaborations and clinical trials with pharma and research partners
• Build and mentor a high-performing algorithm/data science team

Qualifications

• PhD in neuroscience, engineering, computer science, or related field
• 10+ years in healthcare algorithm development (neurotech strongly preferred)
• Deep expertise in machine learning (feature-based modeling, statistics, time-series analysis)
• Strong background in EEG or electrophysiology required
• Experience collaborating with or applying deep learning approaches preferred
• Track record of translating algorithms into clinical or regulated environments
• Scientific credibility (publications, collaborations)
