We currently have a team of 150+ people and offices in the Netherlands, Germany, and Hungary. Our team combines programmers and energy specialists, data scientists and top-tier consulting alums. We are expanding quickly and looking for a Digital Twin Engineer in the Netherlands.
What You Will Do Our tech team consists of several teams: the Back-End, Front-End, Digital Twin and Cloud team.
We are looking for a Senior Digital Twin Engineer to join our Digital Twin team (consisting of software engineers, digital twin engineers and data analysts).
As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in designing and evolving the intelligence layer of our SaaS platform—a fusion of physics, mathematics, and machine learning that simulates, analyzes, and optimizes heat networks. You will lead the development of generalized, high-performance software that enables our Customer Solutions & Operations colleagues to configure and deploy digital twin models across diverse projects.
You will take ownership of complex engineering challenges, such as improving model fidelity, control strategies, parameter estimation, and optimization techniques. These models span pipe flow calculations, heat source modeling, demand forecasting, and time-delayed heat transfer.
Our high level stack: Python, GCP, UbiOps, DuckDB, MongoDB, Parquet, Polars.
