About the Role

Responsibilities

• Lead the DevSecOps practices and processes within the organization.
• Develop and implement DevSecOps strategies.
• Mentor other engineers in adopting cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate security-based principles.
• Identify and implement tools and processes to enhance software development and delivery.
• Communicate customer needs and trends to leadership, suggesting innovative solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, recommending enhancements as needed.
• Deploy our software stack to Fortune 500 clients’ servers.
• Participate in the design of Multiverse’s toolbox interface.
• Collaborate with a world-class team of Quantum experts in a fast-paced startup environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; or significant work experience as a Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on Cybersecurity.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer.
• Strong competence with Network Architecture and related technologies in AWS and/or Azure.
• Cybersecurity competence in SAST, DAST, SIEM, SSO, penetration testing, and implementing cybersecurity controls.
• Experience with Cybersecurity Incident Response protocols.
• Competence in cryptographic controls, such as SSH key handling, logging, and auditing.
• Experience with Key Management Service and key rotation solutions.
• Candidates with AWS, Azure, and/or Security certifications will be prioritized, especially AWS Certified Security and AWS Certified Advanced Networking.
• Experience designing and building solutions focused on AWS Security and Network services.
• Competence in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for deployment, scaling, monitoring, and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of standard DevOps practices with hands-on experience in development, deployment, and production environments.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc.).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of security issues.
• Superb communication skills in English and a passion for collaborative work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservice deployment and monitoring.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect.
• High competence with AWS Well Architected Framework.
• Experience with different public cloud providers (GCP, MS Azure) and hybrid or on-premises environments.
• Competence in Kubernetes with an emphasis on Security; candidates with CKS certification will be prioritized.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Expertise in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters and applications using Helm charts and ArgoCD; candidates with CKA, CKAD, CKS certifications will be prioritized.
• Familiarity with Rancher or similar K8s management tools is desirable.
• Competency with service meshes, preferably Istio Gateway.
• Experience deploying SaaS solutions.
• Database experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and deploying Infrastructure to support machine learning and data analytics solutions.
