Job Summary:
Join our team as a DevOps Engineer with a strong security focus. As a vital member of the security and compliance function, you will take day-to-day ownership of information security controls, support essential compliance initiatives, and directly influence the security posture of the organization. You will work closely with a DPO & AI Compliance Manager, fractional CISO, and our external platform provider (Delve) to keep SOC 2 and ISO 27001 programs on track and ensure ongoing operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and remediate technical security controls, including vulnerability management, patching, IAM hygiene, endpoint protection, and backups/disaster recovery.
- Administer and ensure the continuous updating of compliance evidence in Delve (our IS compliance platform).
- Support risk assessments, incident response activities, and disaster recovery tabletop exercises.
- Coordinate remediation actions across engineering teams, ensuring timely assignment, follow-up, and closure.
- Ensure asset inventory and configuration records are current and accurate.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to drive policy adoption and signature completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in security operations such as IAM, patching, logging/monitoring, and disaster recovery/business continuity.
- Proven familiarity with compliance frameworks, specifically SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
- Exceptional ability to coordinate and track compliance tasks across multiple teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clear, precise documentation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and proactive organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with compliance platforms such as Drata, Vanta, or Delve.
- Exposure to audit preparation, client security reviews, or similar assurance activities.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g. Security+, AWS Security, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
