Job Requirements About the Role

The Senior Delivery Manager is the single-threaded owner of delivery risk for any customer engagement that deviates from AeroCloud’s standard off-the-shelf delivery model.

This role exists to ensure that what is sold can be delivered credibly, that delivery risk is surfaced early, and that customers experience clarity and confidence from contract signature through to stable go-live.

This is not a project management role.

It is a senior accountability and decision-making role.

The Senior Delivery Manager engages pre-sales for complex deals, shapes the SOW, stays with the delivery end to end, and hands over only when the customer is stable and ready for Support ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales and SOW Ownership (for non-standard deals)

• Engage with Sales and customers before contract signature when delivery complexity exists
• Co-author Statements of Work for non-standard deployments
• Define scope, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, and prerequisites
• Pull in technical teams asrequiredtovalidatedeliverability
• Prevent optimism or ambiguity from becoming contractual obligation

Delivery Risk Ownership

• Own accountability for “what was sold versus what will be delivered”
• Maintain a clear,single sourceof truth for scope and expectations
• Make and enforcechanges to scope, sequencing, and readiness
• Gate UAT, deployment, and go-live readiness
• Escalate early when delivery risk becomes material

Cross-Functional Alignment

• Work across Sales, Product, Engineering, Projects, and Implementations
• Demand clarity and trade-offs where delivery risk exists
• Act as the delivery counterweight to commercial or product optimism
• Protect delivery teams from unrealistic commitments

Handover to Support

• Own delivery until the solution is live and stable
• Perform a formal, documented handover to Service Delivery within Support
• Disengage from day-to-day involvement post-handover
• Retain escalation and advisory rights for material delivery risk

Job Responsibilities About You

Required Experience

• Senior experience in delivery, programme management, or complex implementations
• Experience delivering enterprise or regulated systems
• Comfortable operating across Sales, Product, and Engineering
• Proven ability to say no and hold the line
• Strong customer-facing presence
• Calm, decisive judgment under pressure
