Kiro is a fast-moving startup developing solutions for better patient care, powered by artificial intelligence. We aim at improving everyone’s health by supporting patients and doctors with understandable and relevant information. We believe that medical biology is at the heart of healthcare. It contributes greatly to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. Our mission is to foster the interactions between laboratories, health professionals and patients, to go beyond results in patient care thanks to new technologies and artificial intelligence. Since its inception, Kiro has worked in close partnership with clinical biologists, doctors and medical experts to build together a new approach to medical biology that is more understandable, personalized and relevant for the sake of patients.

As a Senior Data Scientist part of the Data Science team, you will work closely with your peers as well as with members of the product, business, and engineering teams. In an environment where technology and digital haven’t played all their cards yet, your work will directly contribute to shaping platforms that benefit patients, clinicians, and biologists; and has the potential to change healthcare fundamentally.

Your role and responsibilities will be to:

Build machine learning and deep learning algorithms leveraging hundreds of millions of test results to drive patients to better healthcare.
Drive the development of user-facing features leveraging the power of machine learning and deep learning, to enable patients to take back control of their medical journey.
Play a key role in deploying machine learning and deep learning algorithms to production.
Proactively engage with data to identify, pursue, and maximize research, business, and product opportunities.
Ensure reproducibility and sustainable quality of your work through clean code and proper documentation.
Keep yourself up-to-date with the latest machine learning and deep learning advancements.### 👤 WHO YOU ARE

Some of the main characteristics we’re looking for:

Master’s degree in a scientific field (Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning…) and at least 4 years of work experience as a data scientist.
