Role Overview We are hiring our first Senior Data Scientist in the US. This is a high-impact, foundational role. You will design, build, and deploy advanced analytical and machine learning solutions that directly influence product direction, growth strategy, and monetization.

You Will Lead Projects Such As

• Recommendation systems
• User segmentation & behavioral modeling
• Churn analysis (including NLP-based parsing of text feedback)
• LTV forecasting & revenue prediction
• Business and growth forecasting

This role requires strong technical depth, business intuition, and the ability to translate models into actionable decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy high-impact ML solutions, including recommendation systems, user segmentation, churn prediction, and LTV/revenue forecasting to drive engagement and monetization.
• Apply NLP techniques to analyze unstructured data (e.g., churn feedback) and uncover actionable product and business insights.
• Leverage both structured (schema-ready) and raw datasets to identify high-value modeling opportunities aligned with company priorities.
• Design and evaluate experiments to measure model performance and quantify business impact.
• Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, decision-ready insights and present findings to senior leadership to influence strategic direction.
• Help define Meshy’s long-term data science roadmap and establish best practices in modeling, experimentation, and measurement.
• Mentor junior team members through technical guidance, code reviews, and modeling leadership, strengthening overall team capability.

Qualifications Required

• 5+ years of experience in data science, applied ML, or related roles
• Strong experience building production-level ML models
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or similar)
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling and experimentation
• Experience with recommendation systems, forecasting, or predictive modeling
• Practical experience applying AI tools in data analysis workflows, or a strong demonstrated interest in leveraging AI for analytical problem-solving
• Expert in SQL
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured datasets
• Ability to communicate complex modeling insights to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

• Experience in consumer SaaS, marketplace, or creator economy platforms
• Experience applying NLP to real-world product problems
• Experience with LTV modeling and growth analytics
• Familiarity with causal inference methods
• Experience deploying models into production environments
• Interest in generative AI or 3D/creative technology
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate at a professional level in both written and verbal forms.
