We're well-funded and backed by top investors, and are now looking for smart and ambitious engineers to grow a tech team based in Luxembourg.
What You'll Own
As our Senior Data Engineer, you will build the data foundation that powers everything from our core product to ML. Your priority will be to design a reliable, scalable data layer that serves both operational and analytical needs, with the rigor of an engineer who understands production systems.
You will
- Design and own the data architecture: ingestion pipelines, warehouse, and the data backbone that feeds our application and AI features.
- Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines that integrate external and internal data at scale.
- Establish our data warehouse with a clean modeling layer (dbt or similar) that data consumers can trust.
- Define and implement the data layer that serves the product (event streams, feature stores, and APIs that bridge raw data and application logic).
- Provision and maintain ML environments on AWS: experiment tracking, dataset versioning, training infrastructure, and model artifact management.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure pipelines are secure, monitored, cost-efficient, and production-grade.
Skills You Need to Be Great at This Job
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a track record of shipping production data systems.
- Deep expertise on AWS data services: S3, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, SageMaker.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines (Airflow, AWS Glue, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with data warehouse modeling and SQL at scale.
- Solid understanding of data architecture patterns: event-driven ingestion, lakehouse, feature stores, and real-time vs. batch trade-offs.
- Experience setting up ML infrastructure: experiment tracking (MLflow or similar), training environments, and dataset management.
What Success Looks Like in Your First 6–9 Months
- You deliver a clean, documented data warehouse that analysts and engineers rely on daily.
- Ingestion pipelines for all major data sources are running reliably, with monitoring and alerting in place.
- The application has a well-defined data layer: events flow predictably, and product features can be built on top of it.
- A working ML environment on AWS is available for the team: experiment tracking, training jobs, and artifact storage.
- Data quality and pipeline health are observable, not assumed.
