Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior, hands-on Data Engineer with strong experience in Azure-based data platforms, particularly Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse. This role is execution focused and best suited for someone who enjoys building, optimizing, and operating data solutions in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience & Skills

4+ years of data engineering or backend experience
Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Python, PySpark, Terraform, CI/CD using Github actions/ADO
Experience with distributed data systems
Strong understanding of Azure cloud environments
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Streaming or near real-time data processing
Databricks or Delta Lake experience
AI/ML data pipeline exposure

Data Engineering & Development:

Build and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Python, and PySpark - Implement batch and near real-time data processing

Translate architecture into production-ready code

Optimize lakehouse-based data models Platform Execution & Reliability

Ensure reliability, performance, and observability of pipelines

Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring

Troubleshoot data and pipeline failures

Support deployments and production stabilization Code Quality & Standards

Follow engineering best practices

Participate in code reviews including AI-assisted code

Write unit and integration tests

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and documentation Collaboration & Client Context

Work closely with lead engineers and architects

Participate in technical client discussions when required

Adapt to evolving requirements

Collaborate across distributed teams
