Architect and design enterprise data systems, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
Define and maintain
Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)
in collaboration with BI teams to ensure alignment between business needs and data models.
Develop and implement frameworks for
data modeling, storage, organization, and accessibility
.
Establish and manage a
centralized data dictionary
to maintain data consistency across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Business Intelligence, and Data Governance) to define and execute
data strategies
aligned with business processes.
Ensure
data governance, security, and compliance
with applicable standards and regulations.
Evaluate and optimize
data infrastructure
for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Develop and maintain
APIs
supporting integration between data platforms and applications.
Implement standardized
data architecture practices
across new and existing solutions.
Monitor and maintain the
overall health, quality, and performance
of all data systems and pipelines.
Support technical meetings as a
shadow participant
to provide insights, recommendations, and technical support when required.
Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring effective coordination and prioritization of deliverables.
Promote a culture of
accountability, ownership, and excellence
in data engineering practices.
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Systems,
or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years
of hands-on experience with
SQL
and relational database systems (e.g., MySQL).
3+ years
of experience with
Snowflake
.
5+ years
of experience with
Azure Data Lake
.
5+ years
of experience with
BI tools
such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Strong experience with
microservices architecture, containerization,
and
Azure Cloud platforms
.
Familiarity with
SaaS environments
and
data integration frameworks
.
Proficiency in
SDLC and Agile methodologies
, with experience implementing agile practices across teams.
Proven ability to
inspire accountability
and foster ownership in data platform initiatives.
Demonstrated success in
creating a data vision and roadmap
and leading technical execution.
