What the job involves

• Work closely with informaticists, clinicians, data scientists, and ML/AI engineers to develop data-driven and evidence-based approaches to transforming utilization management. Contribute to the Company’s healthcare data analytics to meet quality, cost, and service objectives through statistical data analysis methods including clinical and financial risk tracking, models to impact experience, cost, quality, and opportunity analysis
• Conducting exploratory data analysis on claims or other clinical or administrative data assets to understand and define scalable methodologies to measure utilization, cost, quality, outcomes, and key clinical metrics across the spectrum of care
• Utilizing advanced data analytics to build provider and patient profiles that deliver insights to trigger clinical programs, product enhancements, and enable Cohere Health to optimize internal resources and strategize for high impact care
• Developing scalable statistical data models to predict clinical or health outcomes
• Identifying key predictors or cohorts associated with meaningfully different outcomes to target behavior change leading to impact
• Working cross functionally with data and product teams to build meaningful data assets based on defined methodologies to capture patient care journeys and episodes of care
• Regularly disseminating findings and actionable insights to key stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making
• Applying advanced data analytics and predictive modeling techniques to business problems
• Identifying and evaluating industry trends in database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management
• Working cross-functionally across diverse stakeholders, including product managers, statisticians, EHR data specialists and physicians to understand business requirements
• Utilizing data analytical tools such as R, SQL, and Python
