These automated inspections solutions keep humans out of harm's way, enhance system reliability, reduce operating costs and increase asset performance. We are seeking a skilled computer vision engineer to join our team in a full-time role here at our headquarters in Palm Beach County, Florida. This is not a remote position and requires full-time work from the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and image processing techniques. You will work on developing algorithms and models for various computer vision applications to solve complex problems. * Develop and implement computer vision algorithms and models for image recognition, object detection, and segmentation, as appropriate to achieve various goals. * Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of computer vision models. * Collect, preprocess, and analyze large-scale image datasets. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into our products. * Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in computer vision and machine learning. * Optimize and deploy computer vision models to production environments. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on computer vision. * Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV). * Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques, especially convolutional neural networks (CNNs). * Experience with image processing techniques such as image enhancement, filtering, and feature extraction. * Hands-on experience with training and fine-tuning deep learning models for computer vision tasks. * Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. * Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Masters or PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field. * Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark) and/or cloud platforms (e.g. Sagemaker) for processing, training, and serving computer vision models. * Knowledge of image annotation tools and data labeling pipelines. * Experience with deploying computer vision models in real-world applications (e.g., automated industrial inspections, surveillance systems). * Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies. * Experience with building models for prediction of numeric quantities * Experience with utilizing large unstructured datasets for model development. * This is a full time and in-office position but can have flexibility for periodic work from home days.
