We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to Join our Infrastructure Team. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our Azure services as we transition from project delivery to production. In this role, you'll be a technical leader, collaborating across teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving innovation on Cloud Platforms. - Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking and virtualization - Manage and maintain the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by which resources are deployed and defined - Support the expansion of Azure Services into the business and provide input to architectural decisions - Provide advanced support and mentorship to junior engineers - Maintain documentation and promote knowledge sharing - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the Systems Administration Manager as needed - Working with Cyber Security implements robust security controls, compliance standards, and access policies - Optimize performance and resource utilization across cloud platforms - Extensive experience in Cloud Services with a focus on Azure. - Solid experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevSecOps Practices. - Proficient and experienced with IaC (Terraform and/or Bicep) and cloud automation - Understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards - Expertise in performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery - Proven ability to coach and mentor less experienced staff. - Relevant Azure or Cloud certifications - Tertiary qualifications in technology, engineering or similar is considered desirable - Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1 You will be joining a workplace that truly cares about your wellbeing.
