Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, relationship-first role: you will own patient recruitment end-to-end, from activating and sustaining physician referral networks to ensuring participants are engaged and study milestones are met.
This is not an entry-level position. The right candidate brings an established referral network — physicians, specialists, and allied health providers they have worked with before and who will take their call. We need someone who can walk in on day one with relationships to activate, not start from a blank list. If you have spent years earning trust with referring clinicians and know how to convert those relationships into a consistent flow of qualified patients, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Referral Network Development
- Build and manage a referral network of physicians, specialists, and allied health providers
- Execute a structured outreach plan and track referral-to-enrollment conversion across all channels
- Serve as the primary liaison for referring providers — proactive communication, regular updates, fast issue resolution
- Represent the study at clinical settings to sustain and grow the referral pipeline
Study Coordination
- Screen, consent, and schedule eligible participants in accordance with study protocol
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready source documents, visit logs, and deviation records
- Coordinate with site personnel, lab contacts, and the sponsor team throughout the study lifecycle
Site & Regulatory Support
- Support IRB submissions, continuing review documentation, and protocol amendments
- Assist with site initiation activities, monitoring visit preparation, and study closeout
- Identify, document, and report protocol deviations; support corrective action planning as needed
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 5+ years of CRC experience, with a minimum of 2 years operating independently in a senior capacity
- An existing, activatable referral network — physicians, specialists, and allied health contacts who know you and will respond; this is not a role where you build from zero
- Strong working knowledge of ICH-GCP, informed consent processes, and IRB requirements
Good to Have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ACRP or SoCRA certification (CCRC or CCRP)
