Elicit and document requirements from multiple business units, develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows for agile delivery.
Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management, monitor KPIs and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Perform root cause analysis of problems and work closely with business users to identify and translate their needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical squads, facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement sessions with a broad range of internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to elicit, define and prioritise detailed business requirements.
Ensure alignment with broader functional and technical requirements, such as Enterprise Solution Architecture, IT Security, data governance, ethical AI principles, and regulatory requirements.
Work with Scrum Masters, development and QA Teams throughout the project to ensure business requirements are understood, prioritised, and implemented as expected.
Supports the Programme Manager in the delivery of the programme, ensuring transparency of progress, risks, and dependencies.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst working on large scale projects in a complex operational and technical environment. Ability to demonstrate experience in process improvement, automation, data analytics, machine learning, or AI technologies beneficial.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to proactively identify solutions that meet business needs, are fit for purpose, and represent value for money.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust within teams and facilitate effective collaboration between team members and stakeholders across the business.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile (e.g. SAFe, Scrum) desirable.
Experience of working in an agile project delivery model, plus experience of relevant tools such as Jira or DevOps an advantage.
Location: A hybrid approach will be used. Some activities may specifically require an onsite presence e.g. requirements workshops and or Sprint planning workshops. These will be planned and agreed in advance.
