About The Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, highly available backend services and systems. We expect you to have solid programming fundamentals, excellent coding standards, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to play a significant role in team collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high quality features delivery.
• Conduct detailed design, coding, and unit testing based on requirements and design documents.
• Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to elevating the team’s technical capabilities.
• Develop and maintain distributed, robust and scalable programs deployed to Kubernetes environments that serve hundreds of millions of users
• Support and debug production issues through on-call rotations

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Deep expertise in one or more backend languages: Golang, TypeScript, Python, or Java
• Strong experience with distributed systems, REST APIs, and backend microservices
• Proficient in common data structures and algorithms with excellent coding habits and style.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to build consensus with stakeholders
• Ability to independently analyze and solve problems.
• Quick learner for new technologies.

Nice To Have

• Open-source contribution experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud-native tooling
• Comfortable using AI coding tools (e.g GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to boost development efficiency
• Familiar with recommendation system
