Who you are

• 5+ years of experience in the field of software and data engineering
• Expert-level proficiency in Python (FastAPI)
• Deep hands-on experience running and optimizing Postgres and Kafka in production
• Strong experience in software engineering projects with emphasis on impactful outcomes and engaging internal or external client collaborations and satisfaction
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• You value code simplicity and performance. You are detail-oriented and enjoy working with other engineers to solve problems
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written); proficiency in French or other languages is a plus.Bonus Skills
• Experience in a cloud-native or multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• You are familiar with running large scale distributed compute/storage tools in production, (Kubernetes, Postgres, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis)
• You are enthusiastic about cyber-security and you would be proud to contribute to a safer cyberspace
• Experience in a cloud-native or multi-cloud environment (Azure, GCP)
• You are familiar with running large-scale distributed compute/storage tools in production (Elasticsearch, Redis)
• Some experience or a working knowledge of TypeScript and React
