Senior Backend Engineer (Python | Cloud Architecture | AWS & Azure)

At Ofi Services, we build technology solutions that scale globally and create real business value. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about cloud-native architectures, product-oriented engineering, and technical leadership.

This role is for someone who enjoys designing robust systems, making architectural decisions, and mentoring others while working at the intersection of Python, cloud platforms (AWS & Azure), and modern product development.

About the Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and evolving the backend architecture of our products. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering leaders to design secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions in cloud environments.

Beyond hands-on development, you will contribute to technical strategy, ensure engineering best practices, and help grow the team through mentorship and technical guidance.

What You Will Do

Design and develop cloud-native backend services using Python.
Define and evolve product architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decision-making.
Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK and related tools).
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Ensure reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency across AWS and Azure environments.
Review code and designs, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
