About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team at Indivd. You will take ownership of designing and implementing backend architecture, building scalable services, and managing deployments/DevOps. This is a standalone role — you’ll be expected to work autonomously with little supervision, driving projects end-to-end.

While prior experience in AI, machine learning, or computer vision is not required, it will be considered a strong advantage.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement backend architecture for scalable and secure systems.
• Build APIs and services to support data processing, integrations, and real-time applications.
• Manage deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across systems.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.
• Work independently, taking ownership of technical decisions and solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience (senior-level).

• Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages: – preferred; – also highly valued.

Nice to Have

• Background in AI, computer vision, or machine learning product development.

• Experience with GPU-based deployments (CUDA, TensorRT, etc.).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
