Our systems operate in high-scale, real-time, distributed environments , integrating with some of the largest logistics and enterprise systems worldwide.

We run a cloud-native microservices architecture on AWS and Kubernetes , where backend quality, performance, reliability, and observability are critical.

This is a deeply hands-on role — you will spend most of your time designing systems, writing production code, debugging complex issues, and shipping reliable backend services.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who enjoys writing code, solving hard engineering problems, and owning backend services end-to-end.

You will work primarily with Java , alongside Python and Node.js , building data-intensive and latency-sensitive systems.

You will design and operate distributed services, handle concurrency and performance challenges, and work close to production systems.

You will also act as a technical anchor for the team — leading by example through code quality, system design, and ownership, not through meetings or titles.

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day)

Required Skills & Experience

Backend & Languages

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Java (JVM-based backend development)
• Practical experience with Python and/or Node.js
• Deep understanding of:
• Multithreading & concurrency
• JVM memory model and performance considerations
• Writing clean, maintainable, testable code

Architecture & Distributed Systems

• Proven production experience with microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of:
• Network latency, timeouts, retries, and failure handling
• Distributed systems trade-offs and eventual consistency
• Designing resilient and scalable services
• Experience debugging high-load, real-world production systems

Data & Infrastructure

• Strong experience with:
• MySQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization)
• MongoDB
• Redis (caching, performance optimization)
• OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
• Hands-on experience running services in Kubernetes (K8s) environments

Production Readiness

• Comfortable working close to the metal:
• Logs
• Metrics
• Distributed traces
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response
• Strong Git workflow experience
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum , using Jira and sprints
• Strong ownership mindset — you build it, you run it
