Job Title: Senior Backend Developer — AI Application Development & Integrations

About the Role:

Location: Remote / Hybrid

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and optimize backend systems powering next-generation AI-driven platforms, GPU workloads, and cloud-native integrations. The ideal candidate combines modern backend engineering, AI/LLM integration, distributed systems, and DevOps automation—with a strong understanding of AWS and NVIDIA GPU environments.

Responsibilities:

·        Backend Architecture & Microservices Development

·        Design, build, and maintain robust backend microservices using Python / Node.js / Go/ FastAPI.

·        Architect scalable, high-performance backend systems for AI, LLM, and data-intensive workloads.

·        Build and integrate REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs.

·        Implement event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pub/Sub.

·        Optimize performance, scalability, latency, and fault tolerance in distributed services.

·        Integrate OpenAI, Claude Anthropic, HuggingFace, and custom LLM APIs into production systems.

·        Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy and maintain AI/ML models ( FastAPI , TensorFlow Serving, LangChain).

·        Ensure best practices for security, authentication, observability, and compliance (OAuth2, JWT).

Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD & Automation

•        Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CodePipeline.

•        Automate deployments, scaling, and monitoring across EKS, ECS, Lambda, and serverless frameworks.

•        Use Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

•        Manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

•        Configure cloud networking, IAM roles, and secure VPC-based architectures.

GPU, NVIDIA & High-Performance Systems

•        Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS GPU instances (P4, G5, G6, A10, A100).

•        Install and manage NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, cuDNN for GPU-accelerated workloads.

•        Build GPU-enabled backend services using NVIDIA Docker & Container Toolkit.

•        Monitor GPU performance using nvidia-smi, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.

•        Optimize backend components for multi-GPU setups, memory usage, and model parallelism.

•        Automate driver updates, GPU provisioning, and GPU-aware CI/CD.

Databases, Scaling & Reliability

•        Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch.

•        Build scalable data pipelines and caching layers.

•        Apply high-availability patterns, distributed systems best practices, and resilience engineering.

•        Troubleshoot production issues using CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks.

Required Skills & Experience

•        Proven experience as Senior Backend Developer building scalable cloud-native backend systems.

•        Expertise in Python, Go, or Node.js, microservices, and backend architecture.

•        Experience deploying and integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, HuggingFace).

•        Hands-on experience with AWS: EC2, S3, VPC, EBS, Lambda, EKS/ECS.

•        Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CDK).

•        Strong grasp of API design, distributed systems, caching, and scalability patterns.

•        Experience with CI/CD, automation, and production-grade monitoring/logging tools.

•        Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU environments, CUDA/cuDNN, GPU deployments, or GPU-aware applications.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

•        AWS or NVIDIA Certifications (CUDA, Deep Learning, GPU Computing).

•        Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud systems.

•        Experience in regulated industries (BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom) with SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR compliance.

•        Experience with HPC, AI agent platforms, inference optimization, or vector DBs.
