About the Role

We are looking for a  (SENIOR) Backend / Cloud Developer  to join our core team and take ownership of the backend services and cloud infrastructure powering our voice AI agents in healthcare. You'll play a key role in building reliable services, improving our deployment and infrastructure practices, and working closely with the founding team to scale the platform.

This is a high-impact, high-responsibility role for someone excited to work hands-on with backend architecture, cloud systems, integrations, and developer infrastructure, while helping shape how we build and operate production systems as the company grows.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and own backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure across our platform.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and security of our production systems and deployment workflows.
• Build and maintain integrations, pipelines, internal tools, and data-heavy backend systems.
• Build and improve infrastructure as code practices over time.
• Make key architectural and technical decisions as we scale the product and team.

Requirements

We value skill, ownership, and real world experience over formal credentials. You should be able to demonstrate deep technical capability and a track record of building high-quality software.

We do require

• 4+ years of professional software development experience in production environments.
• Ability to rapidly prototype, make pragmatic technical decisions, and ship MVPs under time constraints.

Bonus

• Strong Finnish communication skills, written and spoken.
• Experience building or improving cloud environments, deployment pipelines, and developer tooling.
• Experience with event-driven systems, background jobs, or data processing pipelines.
• Experience designing and working with production-grade data systems (e.g., SQL databases, NoSQL databases, Redis, or similar).
• Experience working with voice interfaces, telephony, or conversational AI.
• Exposure to healthcare systems, regulated environments, or data protection standards such as GDPR or HIPAA.
