The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our small but growing analytics team and lead the development of our data transformation layer. This is a highly stakeholder-facing role where you’ll meet with teams across the company to understand their data needs and deliver trusted, well-modeled data solutions. You’ll be the dbt expert on our team, ensuring our pipeline is reliable, scalable, and supports a wide range of use cases. Your work will lay the foundation for high-impact insights across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Own and evolve our dbt project to support reliable, scalable, and well-documented data transformations.
• Partner directly with stakeholders across departments to translate data needs into actionable models and solutions.
• Blend data from various sources (e.g. Mixpanel, Intentwise, and Salesforce) into a cohesive analytics layer that supports reporting and decision-making.
• Maintain and enhance our data models in BigQuery to power analytics, dashboards, and operational workflows.
• Implement and uphold best practices around data governance, testing, and documentation.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering + data analysis, including 2+ years working extensively with dbt.
• Deep expertise in SQL, with a track record of building modular, well-documented, and performant models
• .Experience with modern data stacks and tools. BigQuery and Metabase are a plus, but equivalent tools are welcome.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with business and technical stakeholders.
• Bonus: familiarity with Python for scripting, data validation, or orchestration tasks.

$125,000 - $165,000 a year

Final salary offered is based upon multiple factors, including individual job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills and location. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for stock options. We offer comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance, unlimited paid time off, and matching 401k.
