About the Job

Based in Munich, as a Senior Forward Deployed/AI Engineer at Resaro, you’ll be embedded within a customer-facing team responsible for designing and delivering AI testing platforms. Based in Munich, you’ll collaborate directly with users to understand their workflows and pain points, build and iterate on prototypes, and develop scalable full stack solutions that automate data handling , synthetic data generation , and model evaluation pipelines .

You’ll work closely with AI scientists and solution architects to integrate models, services, and visualizations into highly modular tools that can be deployed both in the cloud and in air-gapped, on-prem environments .

Key Responsibilities:

Client-Centered Development

• Interface directly with end-users and domain experts to understand real-world pain points.
• Rapidly prototype and test ideas to validate feasibility and solution fit.
• Serve as a technical advisor, trainer, and implementation partner to the client.

Full Stack Engineering

• Design and build production ready robust, maintainable, and modular applications using NodeJS (backend) and React (frontend).
• Leverage existing services and extend based on customer needs, including backend APIs and micro services for managing data pipelines, AI model evaluations, and test orchestration.
• Create intuitive user interfaces for configuring and visualizing AI test runs.

Collaboration & Integration

• Provide input to central platform on pain points and potential common services that could be built.
• Work with AI scientists to integrate ML models, inference endpoints, and monitoring tools.
• Package applications for air-gapped, on-premise deployment , with appropriate isolation and dependency management.

DevOps & CI/CD

• Implement CI/CD workflows to streamline development and release cycles.
• Ensure solutions are testable, versioned, and easily maintainable over time.

Product Mindset

• Proactively assess feasibility of proposed solutions and recommend alternatives when needed.
• Contribute to the architectural direction and long-term scalability of Resaro’s testing stack.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience as a full stack engineer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with React and Python (e.g., FastAPI, Flask).
• Experience developing scalable backend services and frontend applications in production environments.
• Familiarity with building modular systems and integrating third-party ML/AI services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or fast-changing contexts.
• Experience with Docker , build pipelines, and packaging software for deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for data streaming or event-driven messaging.
• Experience with job orchestration frameworks (e.g., Celery, Airflow, Argo Workflows).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tooling and version control (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Ability to engage directly with customers, communicate clearly, and iterate fast.
• Understanding of deploying in air-gapped or restricted environments (e.g., bundling dependencies, local-only services).
• Clear communication and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in defense, government, or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with ML/AI development lifecycles and evaluation pipelines.
• Experience with tools like ComfyUI , LangChain , or custom RAG/LLM agent tooling.
• Knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure and hybrid deployment models.
• Exposure to testing automation frameworks and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of user authentication and secure access control patterns.
