As the Senior Adobe Commerce Cloud Backend Developer, you will spearhead the support of backend development and integration of our ECommerce platform. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of our backend Adobe ECommerce systems, specifically within the Adobe Commerce Cloud environment. Collaborating closely with our front-end developers and implementation partners, you will drive the technical direction of our ECommerce platform, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years experience as an Adobe Commerce and Magento Developer
Nice-to-have: Mirakl experience.
Strong proficiency in PHP, the primary language Adobe Commerce Cloud is built on.
Proficiency in additional programming languages such as NodeJS, JavaScript, and Python is a huge plus.
Experience with middleware platforms, such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel is a strong plus.
Hands-on experience with MySQL database design and optimization.
Proficiency in XML for layout, configuration, and other Adobe Commerce Cloud settings.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and messaging protocols (e.g., JMS, AMQP).
Expertise with HTML & CSS for effective collaboration with front-end developers.
Experience with Composer, the PHP dependency manager used in Adobe Commerce Cloud.
Strong understanding of Adobe Commerce Cloud's API, custom module development, and platform architecture.
Ability to grow into an architect-level role, providing technical direction and strategy.
