Job Position:  Senior Accountant and Audit Lead

Location:  Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with full audit management experience and a background from one of the major global accounting firms. CPA certified and brings a high standard of discipline, accuracy and professionalism suitable for a fast growing multi entity company.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Management

• Lead and coordinate annual audits from planning to final sign off

• Prepare audit packs, schedules and deliverables and manage all communication with external auditors

• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards

Financial Reporting

• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Oversee the general ledger and manage all closing activities

• Reconcile accounts, validate entries and resolve discrepancies

• Support consolidation across multiple jurisdictions

Operations and Compliance

• Manage invoices, expenses and vendor payments with full documentation

• Work with legal and operations teams on filings and regulatory requirements

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow control

• Improve accounting processes and maintain well organized financial records

Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field

• Background from one of the Big Four or other top tier accounting firms

• Proven experience managing full scope audits

• Strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP

• Proficient with accounting systems and advanced Excel

• Strong analytical ability and high attention to detail

Bonus Experience:

• Experience working with startups or high growth environments

• Familiarity with UAE, EU or US compliance requirements

• Exposure to investor reporting or data room preparation
