Paladin Security is seeking a friendly, confident, and professional Security Guard to join our team at Park Place Mall in Lethbridge, AB. This role requires strong customer service skills, physical endurance, and the ability to remain calm and decisive in emergency situations.

This position involves both day and evening shift rotations and requires availability on weekends and holidays. The role may be physically demanding due to the varied site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and patrons
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches
• Respond to and investigate alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
• De-escalate crisis situations and liaise with emergency services (police, fire, paramedics)
• Exercise crowd control and remove trespassers when necessary
• Write clear and detailed incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity reports
• Provide first aid and medical response when required
• Use two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities
• Manage Lost & Found items and related inquiries

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security experience
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a valid Alberta Security License
• Authorized to legally work in Canada
• Ability to walk up to 18–20 km per shift and use stairs regularly
