Our work at NVIDIA is dedicated towards a computing model focused on visual and AI computing. For two decades, NVIDIA has pioneered visual computing, the art and science of computer graphics, with our invention of the GPU. The GPU has also shown to be spectacularly effective at solving some of the most complex problems in computer science. Today, NVIDIA’s GPU simulates human intelligence, running deep learning algorithms and acting as the brain of computers, robots and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. We are now looking for a Security Engineer Intern for Omniverse! You will help teams develop applications according to secure-by-design principles. This includes onboarding applications to our security platforms, analyzing tooling outputs, and partnering with engineering and product teams to maintain optimal security posture. The Security Engineer Intern will also develop processes around mitigation and prevention of these flaws in the future. This role also entails working closely with development teams, devops teams, and other collaborators to build a culture of security and continuous improvement. * Collaborate with partner teams to onboard applications to our security platforms * Observe security practitioners across NVIDIA and develop consistent secure SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) process documentation * Analyze vulnerability scan results and document remediation or mitigation options * Report on key performance indicators related to application security * Pursuing MS degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security, or relevant area * Experience analyzing datasets and defining recommendations based on results * Familiarity with static, dynamic, and container scanning tools such as Checkmarx, Coverity, Qualys, Snyk, or Anchore * Experience with secure coding practices and software security architecture * Experience with programming Python and using Python ecosystem tools * Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and technologies, such as Prisma or Aqua * Hands-on experience with workflow management tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow * Solid understanding of development platforms like Git, Perforce, or other source code management tools The hourly rate for our interns is 18 USD - 71 USD. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience. You will also be eligible for Intern benefits.
