What will the role look like?
Supporting the development of designs, planning and costing
Drafting scopes under NRSWA for the mitigation, which include coordination of subcontractors and agreeing the works.
Coordination of site and construction works, in regard to logistic and programme planning.
Provide accurate dimensional control, and check that established by others, to enable the works to be constructed to the required tolerances as defined by the Contract / design documents. Carry out surveys for design, as-built and payment purposes.
Assist site foremen and managers in supervising site operatives and sub-contractors ensuring that the works are constructed in accordance with design drawings, specifications and standards as defined by the contract documents.
Produce method statements and risk assessments to be approved by supervising engineers / managers and ensure that site operations take place in accordance with documents which detail safe systems of work, e.g. method statements, task sheets and procedures.
