The Role
We are hiring a
Scientist
to build and own scRNA-seq
single-cell platform
in Chennai.
You will take full ownership, from setup and validation to high-throughput production (1M+ cells/run). This is a high-autonomy role for someone who has
personally run single-cell assays
and wants to lead a critical capability from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Establish and scale scRNA-seq workflows
- Own end-to-end execution
: Planning → Supplies → sample prep→ library prep → QC → sequencing handoff.
Required Qualifications
- PhD (or equivalent experience) in genomics, molecular biology, immunology, or related field
- Hands-on experience with single-cell RNA-seq
(Parse Evercode, SPLiT-seq, sci-RNA-seq, etc.)
- Strong
NGS library prep & QC skills
- Proven ability to
implement and optimize assays independently
- Experience with
cell prep
(PBMCs, nuclei, fixation methods)
- Ability to work
Preferred
- Basic familiarity with
single-cell data analysis
(Scanpy, Seurat, or similar)
- Experience developing genomics assays (NGS, library prep, nucleic acids enzymatic assays)
- Oligo/barcode design experience
- Exposure to scRNA-seq pipelines
- Basic Python/R for QC and tracking
