therapeutic modalities. We are seeking a passionate Scientist to lead and build our

biologics research and innovation pipeline.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Scientist specializing in CHO, HEK293 cell culture

and bioprocess development. The candidate will establish and operate ChemT’s

innovative bioprocess research and development, optimize workflows, and validate AI-

designed small molecules for cellular control and biomanufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct research to understand the biology of the cell and collect omics data from various conditions.
2. Collaborate with AI scientists and external partners to perform interdisciplinary studies.
3. Set up a fully operational CHO, HEK293 cell laboratory, including equipment selection and workflow design.
4. Culture and develop various cell lines for biologics production, such as CHO-K1, CHO-S, DG44, and other derivatives.
5. Perform fed-batch and perfusion cultures.
6. Analyze recombinant protein production (titre and quality).
7. Prepare technical reports and presentations.
8. Develop SOPs, safety guidelines, and operational processes.
9. Mentor junior scientists or interns.

Basic Requirements

1. Master’s or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, or related fields.

2. Hands-on biologics production cell culture experience.

3. Familiarity with fed-batch/perfusion systems and bioreactors.

4. Strong aseptic technique and assay development skills.

5. Ability to independently design experiments and troubleshoot.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Industry experience in biologics manufacturing or cell line development.

2. Experience with HPLC, flow cytometry, ELISA, or protein analytics.

3. Experience setting up labs or implementing new workflows.

4. Knowledge of omics or metabolic engineering.

5. Strong scientific writing and presentation skills.
