To grow our business in the US, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager at the hotspots of the US maritime industry: East Coast or Houston
Responsibilities
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients
- Direct and In-Direct B2B sales in commercial, recreational and security segments
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expand the relationships with direct customers, existing dealers, distributors and shipyards
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams (service, production, R&D)
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
Your profile and qualifications
- Proven experience as sales manager in the maritime industry in the US (min. 5 years)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a relevant field
- Experience in value-based selling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills – knowledge of the Challenger Sales methodology or similar methodology would be an asset
