A trusted partner of Microsoft, IBM, Nvidia, and Aveva (Schneider), Cogniprise delivers cutting-edge technology alongside selective implementation and hands-on training for consulting partners. Our products are AI Agent based software solutions called MVPs (Minimum Viable Product) that can mange control rooms, monitor asset health and predict asset failure, optimize production processes, and otherwise improve plant profitability.
Role Description
We are seeking a Sales Executive (contract) or a Sales Services Partner to drive outreach and sales of Cogniprise MVPs. This is not a full‑time employee role; instead, we offer a retainer + commission structure to align incentives and manage budget flexibility.
The ideal candidate (or firm) will:
• Develop and execute sales campaigns targeting industrial clients in energy and process manufacturing.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
• Identify and generate sales opportunities, and drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies.
• Build relationships with decision‑makers (operations, reliability, IT, and executive stakeholders).
• Understand client needs, and translate our AI-based solutions capabilities into clear business value propositions.
• Provide feedback from prospects to refine messaging and product positioning.
• Collaborate closely with Cogniprise leadership to align business objectives with client requirements.
• Collaborate with Cogniprise leadership on sales materials, demos, and presentations.
Compensation Structure
• Retainer: $2-3,000/month (paid monthly).
• Commission: 10% of contract value for each MVP sale.
• Accelerator: Commission rises to 12% once quarterly quota (e.g., 3 MVP deals) is exceeded.
• Bonus: $2,500 milestone bonus for closing 3+ MVP deals in a quarter.
• No cap on commissions
• Payment terms: Commission paid within 15 business days of client payment receipt.
Qualifications
• Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in industrial technology, energy and process industries (e.g. oil & gas, chemicals, LNG, pipelines, water, solar power generation, hydrogen and carbon capture).
• Proven experience in sales strategy, lead generation, and closing deals in the above Industries
• The selected candidate must not represent competing clients in the Energy and process industries.
• Experience working in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Refineries, or Utilities is advantageous
• Must be based in the US, can be remote, but preferably located in the South-West (e.g. Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, OK etc).
• Ability to understand technical and operational processes within manufacturing and industrial environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Working knowledge of Digital Transformation and AI pertaining to Energy and Process Industries
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience in building and nurturing long-term client relationships
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
• Proficiency in CRM tools and sales-related software
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a startup environment.
