Purpose Resp & Qualifications This position is responsible for new business development within the middle market space. This role leads sales initiatives and strategies as well as relationship building with both our external partners and prospects as well internal constituents. The Sales Consultant position requires a deep level of knowledge and understanding of selling to self-insured customers with complex benefit arrangements. In addition, the role requires having experience and excellent presentation skills in meeting with C-suite prospects as well large consultant practices.
Essential Functions
Qualifications Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 8 years sales/healthcare experience in a similar sales position.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSAs)
Licenses/Certifications Current health and life license for the jurisdictions of Maryland, DC, and Virginia Upon Hire Required.
Salary Range: $92,000 - $149,500
Travel Requirements Estimate Amount: Estimate Amount: 80%. This position is expected to travel to see consultants and prospective clients within the DMV area.
