Sales & Business Development Manager:
To support our commercial growth objectives and strategic market expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales & Business Development Manager
In this role, you proactively identify new business opportunities in the peptide market, strengthen our commercial pipeline, and drive customer acquisition with a strong “hunting” mindset. You will work closely with our client program managers, technical and operational teams to assess project feasibility, support proposal development, and close commercial agreements that create long-term value.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver against agreed commercial and growth targets
Identify, target, and acquire new customers (including cold outreach and event-based lead generation)
Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
Prepare commercial proposals and quotations
Negotiate and close customer contracts
Evaluate new project requests in collaboration with technical teams
Develop and execute market-development strategies
Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
Represent Space Peptides at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events (approx. 50% travel)
Qualifications:
Master of Science in Chemistry, Life Sciences
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Technical-Commercial roles or Client Program Management
Experience in the sales of Products and CRDMO services
Strong background and existing network in the Peptide / CRDMO /Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry preferred
Excellent negotiation and project-management skill
Strong business acumen with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent in English; German is an advantage
Willingness to travel approximately 50%
