We’re hiring a hands-on Robotics Validation Engineer focused on structured test execution and high-quality data collection for robotic platforms in real lab/field conditions. You will run validation campaigns, ensure repeatable setups, capture reliable datasets (rosbags/logs/telemetry), and deliver clear execution evidence for release readiness.
What you’ll do
· Execute validation runs: sanity, regression, deployment/upgrade, stress/endurance, and issue reproduction support
· Prepare and maintain test setups: robot configuration, sensors, calibration checks, network/power readiness, and run checklists
· Own data collection activates
· Use ROS/ROS2 tooling to validate runtime integrity: topics/rates, TF correctness, timing synchronization, sensor health
· Support automation for repeatable runs: scripts for run orchestration, data capture, basic metrics extraction, and reporting
· Produce structured deliverables: execution reports, run summaries, checklists completion, and issue tickets with strong evidence
· Coordinate with R&D and validation leads to align run plans, versions, and required evidence for each campaign
Requirements
· Hands-on ROS/ROS2: nodes/topics, TF, rosbag record/playback, runtime debugging
· Practical Linux skills (CLI, networking basics, permissions, log handling)
· Python scripting ability for automation and tooling (basic–intermediate)
· Strong discipline in test execution, data quality, and documentation (repeatability and traceability mindset)
Nice to have
· Prior experience in robotics testing/validation, integration, or lab/field test execution (system-level preferred)
· Experience with perception sensors (depth cameras, IMU, LiDAR)
· Experience running endurance/stress tests and managing long-running experiments
· CI/CD or test management tools (Jira/Xray/Zephyr), dashboards, or log pipelines
· Data analysis skills (pandas/matplotlib) and comfort triaging issues from logs/rosbags
