About the Role

Job Title: Robotics Hardware Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical and electrical systems for autonomous trucks.
• Manage suppliers for prototype production of components.
• Define and document hardware requirements.
• Assemble and test designs.
• Commission autonomous driving kits on new trucks and document the commissioning process for operations.
• Conduct hardware testing and prepare test documentation.
• Collaborate with software engineers and controls engineers to deliver a well-integrated full autonomous driving stack.
• Travel to customers or testing areas as required.

Requirements:

• MSc, BSc, or UAS (FH) in mechanical or electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or similar.
• At least 3 years of relevant practical professional or intensive student project experience.
• Proficient in CAD software, electrical schematic design software, and mechanical component production.
• The following would be a plus:
  • Software development experience.
  • Hardware testing experience.
  • Truck driver’s license.
• Self-driven team player with a hands-on mentality.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
